Let us introduce ourselves. Our names are Petra and Patrik Holeček, and we live in Pardubice, Czech Republic, with our family. We have always wanted to buy a house by the sea, so it can be said that Cape Seven is our dream come true. In addition, Patrik is an avid golfer, which is why a house in Marbella was a clear choice.
Our main business activity is gardening and wholesale of Holflor flowers. Patrik buys flowers twice a week on the Dutch stock exchange in Aalsmeer. In addition, we run the flower studio Holflor Studio 1, which offers a wide range of cut and potted flowers, and home and interior accessories from the Dutch brands Riviera Maison and PTMD. We also run the beautiful Galerie Café Park restaurant in the Tyršovy sady park in Pardubice. Our business also includes the Chalet Petra cottage in Velká Úpa in the Giant Mountains, which we offer for a weekly rental.
We like travelling, and our trips are usually connected with gastronomic experiences. We like discovering good restaurants, travelling for wine and golf, having a drink on the beach, and enjoying peace with friends. Cape Seven is the perfect place for you if you want a similar vacation style.
As part of the accommodation in Cape Seven you can use:
There is a lot to discover on the Costa del Sol. Here are a few tips:
In the first place, we recommend a walk under the palm trees along with one of the many endless beaches of Marbella. If you want to enjoy a wonderful lunch or a good dinner at sunset, you will find plenty of excellent restaurants right on the beach.
We recommend visiting the Trocadero Arena restaurant in Río Real on one of Marbella's best beaches. More information at https://grupotrocadero.com/restaurantes/trocadero-arena-marbella/.
In addition, we can also recommend the Cape Seven - Luuma Beach Restaurant (https://www.luumabeach.com).
Marbella also offers beautiful beach clubs, restaurants, bars, and sun loungers for beach rentals. Try Beach Resort Puento Romano, where a beautiful and excellent beach restaurant El Chiringuito Puente Romano specialises in seafood. You can explore more about the whole resort at https://www.puenteromano.com.
Another beautiful beach club with a restaurant and a bar is offered by Nikki Beach (https://marbella.nikkibeach.com).
If you fancy a morning coffee or a pizza for lunch near Cape Seven, try Playa Cabopino, about 10 minutes away, where you will find, for example, Portofino Restaurant Cabopino and other great places to dine and have a drink.
More informationsPuerto Banús is a beautiful port in Marbella with a promenade lined with luxury shops, trendy restaurants, bars and, of course, polished yachts. Various companies here also offer day trips on catamarans or yachts.
More informationsGibraltar is a British territory and an ideal destination for a day trip from Marbella. The journey by car takes about 1.5 hours, and the southernmost place Punta Europa is worth seeing. Here you can look across the Strait of Gibraltar towards the Atlas Mountains in Africa and at the same time interact with the Barbara Macaques, the only wild monkeys in Europe. You can also explore the underground tunnels of the San Miguel Caves - a system that runs beneath the Rock of Gibraltar. Low taxation also makes Gibraltar a popular shopping destination.
More informationsMijas Pueblo is a typical Andalusian village in the Sierra de Mijas. Stroll through the ancient Moorish streets with the whitewashed buildings of small shops, restaurants and cafés while enjoying magnificent views of Andalusia and the African coast.
More informationsMálaga is the largest city in the Costa Del Sol, with many beautiful historical and cultural sites, museums, galleries, excellent restaurants, and cafés. The city is also known as the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, and the museum dedicated to this artist right in the city centre is worth a visit. If you pay a visit to this city, the La Sole Del Pimpi restaurant, which belongs to the actor Antonio Banderas, may be a good choice, too.
More informationsRonda is a beautiful, traditional Andalusian town located on two massifs separated by a deep gorge El Tajo, through which the river Guadalevín flows. The city is surrounded by strips of mountains, which form a magnificent panorama. The main must-see in this area is the New Bridge (Puente Nuevo) bridging the gorge over the river. Then be sure to visit one of the oldest bullrings, Plaza de Toros, where the traditional Spanish bullfights take place.
More informationsThe Ronda area is also famous for its vineyards and excellent wineries. The city of Ronda is part of the Andalusian wine trail with twenty-one wineries, which offer both tours of their cellars and tastings of their wines. Probably the most famous and visited is the Descalzos Viejos Bodegas winery, located in an ancient monastery. We also highly recommend the Doña Felisa Winery, where you can enjoy a great tasting. You can find more info at https://bodegadonafelisa.com/en/.
Further detailed information on wines and wineries from this area can be found at: https://www.wineronda.com or at https://vinomalaga.com/en/.
The Sierra Nevada ski season begins in late November and lasts until early May. The snow quality here is excellent, even in early spring. The Pradollano mountain resort is around 2.5 hours away by car from Marbella and offers 110 km of modern ski slopes with different levels of proficiency. Skiers and snowboarders take 30 lifts to the slopes, including two gondolas and 15 chair lifts. The town of Pradollano is also well prepared from a gastronomic point of view, so it will surely satisfy even the most demanding winter sports lovers.
More informationsWe always offer the house for rent for a minimum of a week (7 nights): from Saturday to Saturday.
